1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LearnWise platform — including our website at learnwiseapp.in and any associated mobile or web application — you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you are a minor (under 18 years of age), your parent, guardian, or school must accept these terms on your behalf. Schools accepting these terms on behalf of students represent that they have the authority to do so.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2 About LearnWise

LearnWise is an education technology platform operated by Learnwiseapp, based in Pondicherry/Tamil Nadu, India. We provide MCQ-based exam practice tools for students in CBSE and State Board schools, along with performance tracking tools for teachers and school administrators.

Our platform targets schools in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu, with content aligned to CBSE and State Board curricula for the relevant academic year.

3 User Accounts & Registration

To use the full features of LearnWise, you or your school must create an account. You agree to:

We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these terms.

4 Use of the Platform

You agree to use LearnWise only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not:

Academic integrity is important. Students must not use the platform to cheat in school examinations or misrepresent their practice performance.

5 School & Institutional Accounts

Schools and institutions that register on LearnWise agree to the following additional terms:

6 Intellectual Property

All content on the LearnWise platform — including but not limited to the question bank, explanations, design, code, graphics, and branding — is the property of Learnwiseapp or its content licensors and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for personal educational purposes only. This does not grant you ownership of any content.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

NCERT content used on the platform is sourced from publicly available government educational materials. LearnWise does not claim ownership of NCERT content.

7 Content & Accuracy

LearnWise makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the questions and educational content on the platform are accurate and aligned with CBSE and State Board curricula. However:

8 Payments & Subscriptions

Some features of LearnWise may require a paid subscription. Where this applies:

We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

9 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may also close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the platform will immediately cease. Relevant data deletion will follow our Privacy Policy.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Learnwiseapp shall not be liable for:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

LearnWise is a supplementary educational tool. We are not responsible for a student's academic outcomes or exam results.

11 Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, as applicable.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pondicherry, India.

We encourage users to resolve any disputes amicably by contacting us first before resorting to legal proceedings.
